Rates for shipping via the Far East continue to rise: for 20" containers, the increase is approximately USD 150, and for 40" containers, up to USD 400. The fluctuation in the Russian ruble exchange rate is also having an impact on rates.
The situation with vessel departures remains unchanged: shipments are still experiencing delays from ports. Additionally, the heat wave has begun, causing ports to temporarily restrict the acceptance of certain types of hazardous cargo. Specifically, for some ADR categories, some ports are imposing restrictions until September.
The situation with rail storage remains unchanged. However, the port of Nakhodka has extended preferential storage periods for both hazardous and non-hazardous cargo to 12 days.
There has also been an increase in leaks in Eurocube containers traveling from Nakhodka by rail. In such situations, containers may be uncoupled en route and sent to a repair area, resulting in delays of approximately 5-7 days at the station. Russian Railways has also reinstated stricter requirements for securing cargo in Eurocube containers for both hazardous and non-hazardous cargo.

Rail transport from Klaipeda to Shabany is operating normally. After a container arrives at the port, loading onto a platform takes 1-3 days, then delivery to Shabany takes approximately 7 days, with an additional 7 days for the return of the empty container.
Feeder vessels typically arrive with a 7-14 day delay. There is no acute shortage of rental platforms, but advance booking is required for the general fleet. The wait for platforms can range from 2-4 days to approximately 7 days, depending on the fleet type.
Road transport from Klaipeda is also operating normally. Vehicles are loaded on the day of unloading or the next day, and delivery to the transport hub takes approximately 3-4 days. Empty container returns take approximately 3-5 days, depending on border queues.
Feeder vessels also often arrive with staggered arrivals. Crane handling is carried out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with no shortage of vehicles.

The rate for container shipments to Minsk remains unchanged. Transit cargo monitoring, including weighing, inspection, and search procedures, remains in effect. Frequent drone-related restrictions, as well as increasingly frequent storm-related restrictions on port operations, continue to impact the time required for repacking and processing transit declarations.

Vessel departure times remain staggered on this route. However, space on vessels fills up very quickly due to high demand, so it is recommended to plan shipments via St. Petersburg in advance.
Container pickup in the direction of Minsk is carried out without any changes in rates. Shipping arrangement times remain stable: finding a vehicle takes approximately 1-2 days, and transit processing takes approximately 1-2 days. 1-2 days from the date of loading onto the vehicle. Transit time is approximately 1-2 days, and empty container return is approximately 1-3 days.
Cargo transportation by covered vehicle is also carried out as usual. Repacking and clearance require approximately 3-5 days, and it is recommended to plan the shipment at least 3 days in advance. Transit times through Manzhouli are up to 25 days, and through Alashankou – up to 20 days.
