International Transport from India to Volgograd — How Inter-freight Managed Oversized Cargo

At the end of March, the Inter-freight team successfully completed an international delivery of oversized industrial equipment — reactors and components — from the Indian port of Nhava Sheva to Volgograd. The project required not only precise planning but also a comprehensive approach at every stage — from preparing export documentation to final unloading in Russia.

International Delivery from India: Project Highlights

The cargo was not only oversized in height and width but also required an enhanced level of safety during transport. The route stretched over thousands of kilometers: a sea voyage from India, transit through Novorossiysk, and final delivery to Volgograd via Russian roads. India is not a common origin for such shipments, which added extra challenges related to aligning export and import requirements.
